Nick Dolbin is a dedicated law enforcement officer with over 14 years of service. He has held various leadership positions throughout his career. His strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, effective interpersonal abilities, calm demeanor under pressure, and proactive approach have earned him numerous commendations and awards in Ohio law enforcement.

Nick has been honored with several accolades, including being the Rookie of the Year in East Cleveland, Top Drug Buster, Top Traffic Enforcement, Top OVI in Cuyahoga County by MADD, and Top Seat Belt enforcement in Cuyahoga County. He has also received a Youth Community Award, a Department Commendation, and Gun Safety Task Force recognition.

In addition to his career in law enforcement, Nick is a licensed real estate agent and a successful business owner. He runs Premier Field Services, a real estate sales and property management company based in Strongsville, Ohio.

As a 911 Operations Supervisor for the Cuyahoga County Department of Justice (CECOMS), Nick oversees call-taker shifts for the Cuyahoga County 911 system, handling 8,000 to 9,000 calls daily. His responsibilities include managing AMBER Alerts, coordinating mass casualty responses for Cuyahoga County, issuing media alerts, and conducting cell phone pings. He also monitors radio traffic and channels and assists local Fire and Police Departments with special requests. Nick supervises personnel's daily functions, evaluates employee performance, and recommends necessary training.

Additionally, Nick serves as a police sergeant for the Timberlake Police Department, where he is a TAC Officer, part of the Command Staff, and a Taser Instructor. He is responsible for overseeing patrol officers.

Nick Dolbin began his career in law enforcement as an entry-level police officer with the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, patrolling a subsidized housing complex. He then worked for various police departments in Cleveland, Ohio, and beyond. He served as a Commander for the Amsterdam Police Department and as a police officer for the East Cleveland Department. While at the Geneva on the Lake Police Department, he conducted their largest meth seizure, totaling three pounds, during a traffic stop.

His experience also includes the role of Administrative Sergeant for the MetroHealth Police Department, where he managed dispatch, radios, FTO programs, uniforms, vehicles, equipment, annual in-service training, policies and procedures, recruitment, and grants. Nick was also a TAC Officer, Firearms Instructor, Range Master, and Glock Armorer.

Nick has earned several certifications throughout his law enforcement career, including Crisis Intervention Training (CIT), Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST), Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), Communications Training Officer (CTO), Field Training Officer (FTO), Background Investigator, Semi-Auto Pistol Instructor, Shotgun Instructor, and Taser Instructor.

Before entering law enforcement, Nick worked in the insurance industry. He served as Manager of Statewide Operations for Medical Mutual of Ohio, overseeing claims and customer service. He also worked as Manager of Workers' Compensation at Klais and Company, leading the daily operations of a BWC Managed Care Organization. His insurance career began as a Claims Specialist for the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, managing claims from injured workers.

Nick Dolbin graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Labor Relations. He also attended the Cleveland Heights Police Academy and Southwest Florida Public Service Academy. To further his knowledge and skills, he has taken courses in Executive Management Leadership at Ashland University.
